Moffitt Cafe and Express @ UCSF: A Culinary Haven at UCSF Medical Center

where i eat everyday, it’s as good as it can get.

We tried the breakfast burrito with sausage, egg, cheese and potatoes. We also got separate plates of eggs, chicken sausage, hash browns and an egg scramble with spinach and mushrooms. The oatmeal ($1.90 for a large) was also a great complement with brown sugar and raisins. The breakfast burrito ($4.50) was very hearty. It was very tasty and tasted fresh. The hash browns were one of my faves because it was so crispy. I think they have a fantastic selection for breakfast and it's very cheap. We paid around 15 bucks for all the food! Convenient too.

As far as the hospital or any other workplace cafeterias go, this is really good place. One can get variety of different foods to suit any dietary preference or need. It has a nice seating area and even a nice outside area to sit on a sunny they without wind.

Probably the healthiest meal on campus. If you are a patient, come here, it is fresh and high quality. They have a variety of dishes available. The salad bar is big and fresh and seems to be the most popular during lunch time. It fills up with students and faculty. Pretty empty when they go back to class/work and only patients are there. It's on the 2nd floor and it has a small seating area that can be crowded during normal dining hours. Excellent and recommended.

The food gets served yeah but very little food but surprisingly you get full actually and the people environment you have staff there that gets frustrated and huffs at children when they can't get by in a quickly fashioned

This is exceptional for being in a hospital. There is a good variety of offerings and the food is very good. We tried a few different things and they were all good. We were there after peak lunch time and found the food was fresh and tasty. The prices are great for being in San Francisco. Very affordable with good quality.

Best hospital cafeteria I have ever been to, and I been to a few in Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Central valley. The breakfast is good and the prices are decent. They have good burgers, cooked to order. Their pizza is good and their salad bar is awesome. they also have fantastic prices on their breakfast items you could get eggs sausage hash browns for a little over $3 I mean it's really cheap they also have Lots of seating areas.
